Just a few after he was released from jail for throwing a metal hand truck at a bus window, McGregor was reportedly ‘being rowdy’ in an upscale Manhattan hotel.
A businessman who was staying nearby McGregor, 29, said: “I heard he was being rowdy last night.
McGregor flew over on a private jet, presumably on Thursday, in order to support Artem Lobov, another fighter who has become entangled in a feud with one of the MMA fighters now vying for McGregor’s vacated lightweight belt.
His unhinged rampage directed at a rival, was filmed by passerby and other videos taken inside the vehicle show him slamming on its side, demanding to fight.
The Irishman and his entourage headed for the loading bay at the Barclays Centre where several fighters were leaving in a bus following a media day.
The 29-year-old attempted to throw a railing at the bus and then smashed a window with a trolley before fleeing the scene and jumping into a waiting car.
And since then he has remained defiant, posting a picture alongside partner Dee Devlin and their child.
McGregor hasn’t fought in an MMA bout since November 2016 when he defeated Eddie Alvarez to win the lightweight title.
The UFC star has been charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief and has been ordered to return to New York on June 14 for his next court hearing.
