Transylvania is the place of one of the most significant separatists conflicts in all of Europe.

In this historical region situated in the centre of Romania 20% of its population doesn’t even speak Romanian. Instead, Hungarian is their mother language. Not surprising, given the fact that Transylvania was part of Hungary for more than 9 centuries, up until the Trianon Treaty of 1920.
